For over 25 years, Deanne made her signature ginger drink as a Christmas gift for family and friends, a tradition passed down through her family. But in 2021, what began as a labour of love became something bigger—when she started selling her homemade ginger drinks at a local market, she quickly realised the demand for something pure, unfiltered, and unapologetically fiery. Root2Ginger was born, and with it, a mission: to bring real, organic, traditionally brewed ginger drinks to a new generation.
Since then, Root2Ginger has grown rapidly, winning multiple Great Taste Awards, including two prestigious 3-star accolades.
