The Role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Research & Communications Associate to join our growing team. This is a full-time, remote role ideal for a recent graduate with strong research, writing, and administrative skills. You will contribute across research, outreach, communications, logistics, and internal coordination—helping us celebrate changemakers through every stage of our process.
Key Responsibilities
Research
- Identify changemakers using public directories, news sources, awards archives, and online searches.
- Log findings accurately and systematically in Google Sheets.
- Follow our internal research guidelines and adjust to feedback and evolving project needs.
Communications & Outreach
- Write clear, professional outreach emails to individuals, organisations, and community figures.
- Support general press and media engagement for both upcoming and past exhibitions.
- Assist in creating outreach content, internal updates, and project communications.
Administrative & Team Support
- Help the team manage schedules, follow-ups, shared documents, and digital records.
- Contribute to occasional tasks like social media posting or virtual event logistics.
- Take on other appropriate responsibilities that support the wider team and our mission.
Working Structure & Expectations
- This is a remote and flexible role, but performance is monitored and targets and deadlines must be met.
- Full training is provided, and you’ll be supported with clear guidance and check-ins.
- You’ll be expected to manage your time independently while contributing efficiently to team goals.
- Respect for data protection and confidentiality is essential.
- This role suits someone who is dependable, responsive, and committed—not someone seeking passive or undemanding remote work.
Ideal Candidate
- Recent university graduate with excellent written English and attention to detail.
- Organised, reliable, and eager to learn.
- Able to write clearly and professionally in a range of tones.
- Comfortable working remotely and managing time across tasks.
- Genuinely interested in community impact, research, or communications work.
What We Offer
- £300/month salary (paid monthly via remote contract)
- Fully remote, flexible work structure
- Full training and feedback
- Opportunities to grow within a meaningful, mission-driven organisation
- A supportive, collaborative team environment
